Director's Note:
Let's face it, we are a society of daydreamers. We let our
attention drift at church. We space-off during classes. Our
mind wanders when we drive.
Alan Haehnel, the auther of this play, humorously explores what is
going through the minds of the members of the choir, the members of the
audience, and the choir director
at a high school concert. During the play, while the choir is
"singing," we will hear random thoughts and visualize the dreams of not
only the individuals in the choir, but also the parents in the audience
and the choir director herself. The play ends with a bang,
literally.
Thanks
for supporting the drama program and the students who participate in
the play. Thanks to the parents who have encouraged their
children to be a part of this activity.
Finally, thans to the students. This is a difficult production, and they have worked hard to make it look easy.
